Etisalat launches smart living solutions – Khaleej Times
Etisalat on Wednesday launched smart living solutions in three different packages with additional options at Gitex Technology Week.
The telecom operator will roll out these packages – eye home, cool home, safe home – through it business centres across the UAE from October 25 and soon the devices and solutions will be available at key retailers in the country, a top official told reporters at a media briefing.
To enhance their Smart Living experience, etisalat’s customers can combine or add to their packages additional devices such as cameras, thermostats, sensors or wall plugs at an additional charge. Etisalat’s customers can choose to purchase their packages with a one-time payment or with instalments starting at Dh99 per month. One-time payment starts from Dh2,187 and goes up to Dh2,749. The telecom opereator will provide free delivery, free installation and free training as well.
Etisalat has partnered with Homengine Technologies, to introduce the Fibaro Home Automation System for the company’s residential customers in the UAE. The advanced Fibaro solutions enable Home Monitoring, Security and Air Conditioning Management. It will allow etisalat’s residential users the ability to monitor, automate, secure and control their homes remotely from anywhere and at any time, using a phone, tablet or computer.
“We are enhancing the smart living experience for our customers with the new Fibaro home automation systems, available at an affordable price point,” said Rashed Al Abbar, etisalat’s Smart Living solutions, vice-president, Consumer Product Innovation.
Etisalat is leading the way through providing consumers with an end-to-end smart home solution and this is in line with our vision to empower all our customers with smart technologies”, Al Abbar added.
Integrating smart home services and solutions requires a robust fixed infrastructure. The etisalat advantage is the high level of security and speeds that are required to introduce innovative platforms such as the new Smart Living system. Michal Rodziewicz, sales director, Board member Fibaro Group added: “This cooperation is a great opportunity to reach direct consumers in the country, who are looking for top-quality, functional and aesthetic smart home solutions. We believe that the mix of Etisalat’s experience and home engine’s expertise will be the best support in popularizing our system in this country. With such reliable partners we are sure that our brand will grow stronger in this market.”
